Sethi Group's Current & Recent Projects

Being a conglomerate encompassing 107 companies, there is never an uninteresting day at the Sethi Group. The environment is always abuzz with high energy professionals brainstorming on improving efficiencies, deployment of new contemporary technologies, development and incubation of innovative ideas that can be incorporated in the other group companies as best practices. All this is made possible by a consistent and timely execution of projects and constant focus on the current ones. The projects that the Sethi group has undertaken in the recent times aptly represent their business mission of maturing into a business that sees no seams and boundaries. Some of our recent and current projects include:

Material Handling

  1. M/s Hindustan Zinc Limited (A Vedanta Group Company) Sethi group shoulders the material handling responsibility for Hindustan Zinc’s new smelter, which has come up at Chanderiya in district Chittorgarh, Rajasthan.
  2. Sethi Group has been involved with material handling for M/s. Sterlite Industries India Limited (A Vedanta Group Company) for its new Copper Smelter Plant & Phosphoric Acid Plant (PAP) at Tuticorin, Tamilnadu.

Mining & Crushing

  1. We are at present doing mining and crushing of Rock Phosphate at Hirapur mines in district Sagar for Madhya Pradesh State Mining Corporation.
  2. Mining, crushing, transportation & railway wagon loading of 2 million tones Iron Ore per annum at Daitari mines in district Keonjhar, Orissa for Orissa Mining Corporation Ltd.
  3. We are also in the process of setting up of a 300 tph crushing plant of Metso to achieve the targets at Daitari mines.
  4. Notable amongst our current projects is a recently awarded the work contract of removal of overburden (1.8 Million CUM) at Basundhra area of Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd in Orissa
  5. Another prestigious project we are currently executing involves the contract work of transport and loading of Lime Stone from Sanu Mines to Jaisalmer Railway Siding and loading them to Railway Wagons at Jaisalmer.
